About us
IMB (www.imb.de) is a research institute on the campus of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
It is generously funded by the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Khmelinskii laboratory focuses on mechanisms of proteome turnover, surveillance and quality control. Working in yeast and human cells, we aim to elucidate how cells identify abnormal proteins and to explore links between protein quality control, cancer and ageing. To support our scientific and organization work, we are recruiting a Student Research Assistant (m/f/d) for 10 hours a week.
